VTUBOX Referral Program Terms
1. Program Overview
The VTUBOX Referral Program allows eligible users to earn commissions by referring new users to our platform. This program is designed to reward our community members for helping us grow while providing value to new users.
Program Benefits: Earn up to 5% commission on qualifying transactions made by your referrals, plus welcome bonuses for both referrer and referred users.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the referral program, you must:
- Be a registered VTUBOX user with a verified account
- Have completed KYC verification (Know Your Customer)
- Maintain an active account in good standing
- Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts
- Reside in Nigeria or have a valid Nigerian phone number
- Not be an employee, contractor, or affiliate of VTUBOX
Account Status: Accounts that are suspended, restricted, or under investigation are not eligible to participate in the referral program.
3. How the Referral Program Works
Step-by-step process:
- Get Your Referral Link: Access your unique referral link from your dashboard
- Share Your Link: Share your referral link with friends, family, or on social media
- Referral Signs Up: New user clicks your link and creates an account
- Verification Required: Referred user must complete account verification
- Earn Commissions: You earn commission on their qualifying transactions
- Track Earnings: Monitor your referral earnings in your dashboard
Referral Tracking: Referrals are tracked through unique referral codes and links. Each user has a unique referral code that must be used for proper tracking.
4. Commission Structure
Commission Rates: Commission rates are determined by VTUBOX and may vary based on:
- Service type (airtime, data, TV, electricity)
- Transaction amount
- User tier or status
- Promotional periods
Current Commission Rates:
- Airtime: 2-3% of transaction amount
- Data Bundles: 3-4% of transaction amount
- TV Subscriptions: 4-5% of transaction amount
- Electricity Bills: 2-3% of transaction amount
Commission Changes: We reserve the right to modify commission rates with 30 days notice.
5. Qualifying Transactions
Commission is earned on the following qualifying transactions:
- Successful airtime purchases (minimum ₦100)
- Data bundle purchases (minimum ₦100)
- TV subscription payments (minimum ₦500)
- Electricity bill payments (minimum ₦500)
- Wallet funding transactions (minimum ₦1,000)
Non-Qualifying Transactions:
- Failed or cancelled transactions
- Refunded transactions
- Transactions below minimum amounts
- Fraudulent or suspicious transactions
- Self-referrals or duplicate accounts
6. Welcome Bonuses
Welcome Bonus Structure:
- Referrer Bonus: ₦100 credited to your wallet when referral completes first transaction
- Referred User Bonus: ₦50 credited to their wallet upon account verification
- Bonus Eligibility: Both users must have verified accounts
- Bonus Limits: Maximum 10 welcome bonuses per user per month
Bonus Terms: Welcome bonuses are credited within 24 hours of qualifying transactions and are subject to the same terms as regular wallet funds.
7. Payment Terms
Commission Payment:
- Commissions are credited to your wallet within 24 hours of qualifying transactions
- Minimum payout threshold: ₦500 (if applicable)
- Commissions are subject to the same terms as regular wallet funds
- No additional fees for commission payments
Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid automatically upon transaction completion. No manual payout requests are required.
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Self-Referrals: Creating multiple accounts to refer yourself
- Fake Referrals: Using fake identities or information
- Spam Marketing: Unsolicited mass emails or messages
- Misleading Claims: False advertising about VTUBOX services
- Fraudulent Activity: Any form of fraud or deception
- Bot Usage: Automated systems to generate referrals
- Incentive Abuse: Offering cash or gifts for sign-ups
Consequences: Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your referral privileges and account suspension.
9. Referral Tracking and Reporting
Tracking System:
- All referrals are tracked through unique referral codes
- Real-time tracking of referral activities and earnings
- Detailed reporting dashboard with transaction history
- Monthly and yearly earnings summaries
Reporting Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, technical issues may occasionally affect tracking. Report any discrepancies within 30 days.
10. Program Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify commission rates with 30 days notice
- Change program terms and conditions
- Suspend or terminate the program
- Disqualify users for policy violations
- Update minimum transaction amounts
Notification: Significant changes will be communicated via email and platform notifications.
11. Tax Obligations
Tax Responsibilities:
- Referral earnings may be subject to taxation
- Users are responsible for their own tax obligations
- We may provide tax documentation upon request
- Consult a tax professional for guidance
Record Keeping: Maintain records of your referral earnings for tax purposes.
12. Termination
Program Termination:
- You may opt out of the program at any time
- We may terminate your participation for policy violations
- Account closure automatically terminates referral privileges
- Outstanding commissions will be paid within 30 days
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will no longer earn commissions but may still use the platform for regular services.
13. Dispute Resolution
Referral Disputes: Any disputes regarding referral commissions should be reported to our support team within 30 days of the transaction.
Resolution Process:

- Provide transaction details and evidence
- Our team will investigate within 5 business days
- Final decision will be communicated via email
